Lionesses legend Jill Scott says she is delighted to be inducted into the WSL Hall of Fame alongside former team-mates Ellen White and Anita Asante.

Scott was selected in the 2023 class along with fellow Euro 2022 winner Ellen White and former-Lioness Anita Asante at a ceremony in Manchester on Monday. The popular former-Manchester City and Everton star could not hide her delight as she discussed what the award meant to her.

“I’m absolutely buzzing to be honest," beamed Scott at the event at the National Football Museum. "I’ve seen Kelly Smith, Rachel Yankey, Karen Carney, players like that getting inducted in.
“Just to have your name alongside those fantastic players who over the years were my heroes really – even when we played in England together I would question why I was even with those players at times."
