Newcastle fans have been reacting to the news that Jack Colback could leave the club permanently, and let’s just say he might want to stay off social media for a few days.
It’s been a while since Newcastle fans have actually felt positive about their club and squad, but that doesn’t seem to apply to loaned out players, as fans have been crucifying Jack Colback on Twitter.
The ex-Sunderland man joined Newcastle back in 2014, and made nearly 100 league appearances for the Magpies.
After being virtually non-existent for the first half of the season, the fiery midfielder joined Nottingham Forest on loan in January, and now the Chronicle are reporting that the Championship club want to keep him.

Despite having some good performances in his early Newcastle career, fans have not been impressed by Colback in recent times, and they’re practically pushing him out the door.
The tough tackling 28 year-old has looked much more comfortable in the Championship than he ever did in the top tier, so maybe a move would be best for all parties with no chance of him taking the place of Jonjo Shelvey or Mo Diame.
