Rice has the privilege to work under some of the game’s most talented managers at it is already though, as Manuel Pellegrini and Gareth Southgate oversee his development with West Ham and England respectively.

Despite the fact that they haven’t worked together all that often, the 20-year-old seems to enjoy working under Southgate, as he posted an image on Twitter that shows him learning from the England gaffer.

Hopefully, Southgate’s schoolings can bring the best out of Rice when he pulls on an England shirt, and perhaps he can use some of the things the former Aston Villa defender has been teaching him while playing for West Ham as well.

The fact that Rice has such a willingness to learn and improve his game at any given opportunity is a great sign, and it certainly bodes well for the rest of his career.
